ABOUT

I'm just a working stiff who discovered a love of riding bicycles while trying to lose some weight. Why bicycles? Remember when you were a kid. The feelings from those first rides. When the neighborhood grew infinitely bigger. Filled with curiosity, excitement and fear you pressed further and further from normal boundaries. Do you remember that feeling of joy when you made it home. That's the bicycle for me. Riding reminds me that adventure is just at the next turn and I hope to capture some of those while showcasing the beauty of The Natural State; one of America's best kept secrets. What's with the title? The title was inspired by my buddy Reilly who always declared what time a ride would start by using the term "wheels hot" followed by the start time. Military speak for sure. I really liked it and started using it for the rides I organize. When I started this blog project it seemed appropriate. Thanks Reilly!
