Summer Crit Series - Evans Events

Truly a great scene at the Summer Crit Series. I'm convinced that local grassroots racing is the lifeblood of the sport. Why?  #1 people new to bicycle racing can get their feet wet with less pressure from larger races. #2 the more experienced folks get a great workout, practice team tactics and fight for local bragging rights. #3 the first race is $10 and the second is $5. #4 it's fun. Kudos to Jason Evans for putting on the Summer Crit Series. Click here for more information.

This might just be the coolest race.

How the race was won.

Great to see DG back on the start line.

Entry fee + finish line = nerves. Doesn't matter if it's a local race.

The open race cues up.

Boyz of summer.

Start of the open.

Doesn't take long. 1st lap.

Hesitation is devastation.

Established.

The chase.

The bunch.

Good times.

Hello summer nights.

I too enjoyed seeing all those you guns in the Jr's race. I was very fortunate to have made that last minute change. Thanks so much to you and your team for their continued support. I only hope that the events I put on continue to be laudable.
